Shir graduated the Department of Industrial Design at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in 2016. He lives and creates in Tel Aviv, where he divides his time between industrial design, sculpting and drawing in metal wire.
Shir creates with a hands-on approach to research and working with materials. He likes developing items into series' and growing product 'families'.
He looks for the smile on the beholder when presented with his creation.
